Get used to judging the local weather before a ride and selecting your clothing accordingly/less is often much more

There has never been as much information available for free to new cyclists. Google, You Tube and numerous cycle forums are your friends, use them.

Your Goals are just that, YOURS. Choose them wisely, challenge yourself but be realistic. Tell th eworld you are going to do it so there is no backing out, then do just do it.

Cycling is as much about the mental game as it is the physical game, if not more so. Learn to control your mindset and there is pretty much nothing you cannot achieve on a bicycle if you distance yourself from the herds of naysayers and join the minority of Yaysayers.
